Thin and Clear

In 2009 under a Forest Service program to make properties in the Salmon River canyon more fire resistant the area around the historic buildings were cleared of brush and small trees that would provide fuel to a future wild fire. A portion of the funds for labor were provided by a grant from Idaho County.
