Large dead standing trees are dropped
and moved to the barn area.
A straight rack is adjusted to level on the top of the log. The chain saw is mounted in an adjustable cage and slid along the top of the log making the first cut
A small mill attachment is used to trim the sides of the log
2" x 14" and 4" x 4" lumber has been treated to resist rot
Milled lumber is stacked with spacers to aid drying
